Workshop Overview:
1. Learn the history of improvisational baladi;
2. Learn the musical and rhythmic structure of the accordion baladi;
3. Learn how the melody and rhythm instruments interact in this improvisational performance structure.
This workshop is open to all intermediate or higher level musicians playing Arabic melody or percussion instruments.
Learn to play or support the lead instrument in the accordion baladi improvisational solo structure!

Elias Lammam is a master musician and instructor. He is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and composer with extensive training in both Classical Arabic and Western music.
He performs and teaches weekly classes and private music lessons in the San Francisco Bay Area.
